Social Policy Development Advising
Ann Davison
Attorney, Legal Strategy Advisor, Social Policy Developer
Taking existing legal frameworks, Ann develops social strategies to encourage improvement, because honestly complex social problems will likely never be “solved” but at times need concentrated attention to reduce and improve. If that is not done, then one social issue can overwhelm and drown out other issues still deserving and needing our social capital. Blending efficiency with social purpose enterprise to create processes that help society, while remembering the individual. Advising and creating conceptual social policy, targeting complex and multi-sourced problems to aid jurisdictional entities or specific nonprofit groups. Focusing on dual purpose policies to address more than one social issue with one functional strategy.

Basing all design concepts on strong data, Per provides research and statistical analysis for the social policy design advisory work for WatchTHIS.org. Tracing data sources and blending study results to formulate the evidence basis from which our social policy advice is formed. Summarizing our policy development advice into visual, brief, informative infographics that convey our large concepts succinctly. Per is adept at budgets, financial statements, economics as well as metrics and data to create what Ann refers to as a “mirror” so society at large can see if the system is improving or reducing the problem or not.
